Your first consultation with Dr Hodge will last from 15-30 minutes depending on your reason for referral. ARE YOU WELL? HAVE YOU RECENTLY HAD COVID-19?
If you are showing any signs of acute respiratory illness, please call us on 0447 087 876 to discuss alternative appointment options. If you are a close contact of a COVID-19 positive person, please ensure you are asymptomatic and perform a RAT test on the day of your appointment. If you have recently contracted COVID-19, you will not be able to attend the practice for 7 days following your first day of infection.
HOW DO I GET THERE AND WHERE DO I PARK?
Dr Hodge consults from two ICON Cancer Centre Locations. Both of these rooms are located on the first floor:
Tennyson Centre – Suite 10, Level 1, 520 South Road, Kurralta Park
480 Specialist Centre – Level 1, 480 North East Road, Windsor Gardens
There is free onsite parking at both locations.

If you are an adult attending our practice for sleep apnoea, please ensure we have received a current sleep study or bring a copy of the report with you to your appointment.
If you are seeing Dr Hodge regarding hearing issues and need a hearing test, please note that we do not perform these on site. If you do require one, please have one organised prior to your appointment. Alternatively, Dr Hodge will refer you following your appointment if indicated.
If you are seeing Dr Hodge for the first time, have a printer, and would like to complete a new patient form ahead of time, please click here: PATIENT INFORMATION FORM. Simply print, and email the completed form to: firstname.lastname@example.org. Can’t print? No worries! You can complete this form at the time of your appointment, we suggest arriving to your appointment 5 minutes early to do this.
CAN I BRING A SUPPORT PERSON?
Yes! We welcome you to bring a support person with you if needed. We do ask that you limit the support people you bring to 1-2 people to ensure comfortable accommodation of everyone in the consultation room.
HOW DO I PAY MY ACCOUNT?
Full payment is required on the day of your consultation. For fee information, please contact us on 0447 087 876. EFTPOS is the preferred method of payment; however, we do accept cash if this is not possible. A Medicare claim will then be lodged electronically on your behalf. Generally, your rebate will reach the nominated bank account you hold with Medicare within 24 hours of the claim submission.
As appointments with Dr Hodge are in high demand, we appreciate 24 hours’ notice of cancellation so that the allotted time can otherwise be filled. Less than 24 hours’ notice of an appointment cancellation, or failure to attend, may incur a cancellation $50 cancellation fee.
We do not regularly offer Telehealth (phone) appointments, Due to the nature of the ENT speciality, Dr Hodge generally needs to review patients in person. If you happen to be scheduled for a phone consultation review, we do ask that you ensure your referral is current to utilise this service. Please call 0447 087 876 to confirm if you are unsure.
